AM1 series moulded case circuit breakers provide overload and short-circuit protection in distribution boards and motor circuits. The thermal release protects against sustained overloads while the magnetic release clears sudden short-circuit currents. This model has four poles and a rated current of 100 A. Rated operational voltage is AC 380/400 V, rated insulation voltage AC 690 V and rated impulse withstand voltage 8 kV. The short-circuit release is set at ten times the rated current. At AC 380/400 V the ultimate breaking capacity (Icu) is 35 kA and the service breaking capacity (Ics) is 25 kA. With a 125 A frame, the same case covers a range of rated currents. Manufactured in compliance with IEC 60947-2.
